When I decided to open Scuola Pizza on 34th BLVD in Gainesville I knew my greatest challenge would be to find an interior designer who could take a dilapidated space and with a strict budget make a nice restaurant interior. Honestly, I didn’t think it was possible. When I called Kaelyn, immediately I knew she was the right person for the job. I felt like I had known her for 15 years after 15 minutes. To make a long story short, she basically did everything from A to Z without me stressing a bit. She checked up on everything, ordered all the decor, corresponded flawlessly and made one of the more difficult parts of opening a restaurant seem simple. When the customers ask me if this interior was my doing I can’t help but laugh… I feel like I did so little for this place to look as beautiful as it does. Kaelyn Schmidt is in a league of her own commercial or residential, don’t make the mistake of picking someone else if she is available.”
